Am not sure whether the fact I haven't won a single game of solitaire in the past four days is a sign of the impending apocalypse, or whether even my computer is telling me to get off my backside and write the last 2,000 words.

The computer wants you to finish off so it can have you all to itself after you're done. Don't disappoint it ;-)

Once I've finished this thing, I'm not going near the computer for a least 3 days.

And I still haven't won a game yet. Solitaire is really not endearing itself to me right now.
