My mood to blog comes at the most ridiculously timings, like now. 8.40am. Will then be heading to the school canteen to meet an ting for breakfast at 9.15am. Ok must hurry.
There is officiallly one million things going on in my life now of which suddenly I NEED TO SPEAK TO HEIDI CHANG AND LIM XINYI. ok, I hate skype and am, more often than not, too lazy to type nice long emails. So I suppose MSN will do, if the two of you are reading this, COME ONLINE SOON K MISSES!
and before anything else, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI!!! <3 my lovey message to you will not be declared here on an open blog, so await my note k~ considering how shetty actually found my blog here before I had a chance to tell her about it, means the bloody friend page is exposing my address. hahaha
My classes are ^&*%$%*^-ly difficult and I have furthur confirmed my theory (from a long time ago in my RJ days) that ancient texts are beyond the modern mind. I will once again bitch about the class I often mention - chunqiu. This book by kongzi, is obviously, in ancient text. Therefore, to understand it, we learn from the explanations in this book called Gong Yang Zhuan, which is also written in ancient text. Of course fret not, there will be another book explaining it by this guy - forgot his name...- but OH NO YES YOU GUESSED IT it's written in ancient text T_T so effectively, we are learning 3 ancient texts. fml.
Therefore, my most unglam 'what-the-hell-is-going-on' look will only appear in this chunqiu class which i actually happen to like very much, which I also believe I will come to love if I can just understand what the hell the teacher is trying to tell me. we spent 2 hours learning how to understand why kong zi wrote the famous first 6 words in the first chapter of his book ... oh holy... 元年春 王正月 .....

I'm going to dye my hair later after class with elaine. then sleepover at Edith's & Elaine's house.

I have one million readings to do and have hardly started on anything, other than the one on the Bible (from a literary aspect). I realised that what I learnt at church from a damn long time ago at my presbyterian primary school is coming back to me. However all I learnt were the nice stories and so now when the teacher throws out words like Israel, Babylon, Egypt, 犹太族, hebrew, greek and what-not, they all seem familiar to me but I dont know their links..... Edith will give me a crash course soon. :D
So after every class I end up having to bombard Edith and Ber (both christians) with endless questions haha (: though they mentioned that the teacher wasn't quite correct..... and the teacher also said Socrates was a fictional character. ERM. So is he real or not?!!! I thought he was Plato's teacher?! I'm taking 2 'The Republic' related classes this sem~
