I learned this evening that someone who was once very significant in my life had died; - not recently, I must add,
In fact he was a year younger than I am now, when he went.

I owed him so much;
I didn't like working in theatre, but he was a joy, joking through operations.

He helped me overcome infertility, and oversaw my pregnancy,
