Solstice Eve.

Tonight is probably the most important of the year for me, since tomorrow, the Solstice begins the thirteen days of Yule. I learned while I was still very young that a wish made tonight will find a way to come to me by the last day of Yule.

I like the building vs planting analogy. I've gotten to point where I don't like to build anything anymore, unless I'm going to get paid for it.

Plants, on the other hand, don't need as much effort. We still have cherry tomato plants that are still producing tomatoes; In December! No one planted them. They just grew!

Well, this is Southern California. Tomatoes will grow almost all year. The landlord had the bushes cut back and the tomato plants just decided to grow.
