Seriously, this was beautifully written and heart-wrenching. I can't believe it's your fist NCIS fic. I hope that you write (lots) more.

Yeah, I have a terrible habit of killing people. (Especially my favorites.) I have other plot bunnies hopping around, some of which don't involve dying, so hopefully there will indeed be more from me in the future.

Loved your story!! The last Gibbs line got me the most 'I'll look after them for us both'. How sad and touching!
