Athens, GA is a vibrant city that defines sophisticated Southern culture. Just below the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains this city of just over 100,000 residents offers a unique blend of Southern heritage and contemporary entertainment. Athens has been awarded the following
- "Best Places to Live and Work in America" in 2002 (Perfect for the woman with a masters)
- "America's Top 25 art destinations" from 2002-2004 (AKA Mama Tom and Crew will want to visit---not like Idaho)
- "#1 Music Mecca" by Rolling Stone in 2003 (You will find great jams like John Mayer all the time ...note : I am seeing Jack Johnson in Sept for $15)
-"Top Ten Great College Towns" by Princeton Review in 2002 (ok, so its no FSU but there is plenty of school spirit and Gator bashing!)
-"Top 25 Best New Chefs" in 2002 (Girl I know how you can eat!)

Plus, you are an hour away from Hotlanta.
And just think your BFF will be here too!

So there's my vote! Love you babe!
