Wow. My car is already done! It was the alternator belt, it broke and melted down in the engine. Cost less than $100 to repair

So. My car.
So. My car. It's been squealing and being generally loud for quite a while now. However when I went to drive it home from work last night my check engine light came on. Told dad, whom mom and I had been making noise at about getting the car checked before this coming fall/winter, and he said he'd call and get the car in to a garage so they can ( Read more... ) -

Need to get my sleep schedule back on track. I think I subconsciously freaked out last night about working today because I stayed up late throwing myself in to escapism/fanfiction until 4:30 am! Was watching Rachel Maddow last night with my mom and dad and she was talking about how politicians, mostly republicans, talk about amending the constitution when they are running for office but to actually have an amendment go through takes more than months or even years but decades. I've been in MI for what now, a week and a half? Two weeks? I should probably do some sort of update and fill you all in. I am still unpacking boxes and at the moment I've three half emptied ones sitting on the floor of my room.
