Vacation & Halloween & Welcome to Arboga! (That is the translation although it hardly needs translating! Except the vacataion/löv part. 'Löv' is only the word used for students, if you are working and you go on vacation it is a 'semester.' See this is what I learned in Swedish class!)

Real Potatoes

Well Grace considering we planted 200 hills of potatoes and it rained all summer, we had excellent yield. I don't know why we planted so many knowing that you were going to be away. I'd love to mail some to you, but that would be silly. We'll still have lots left when you get home and we'll still be eating them mashed!Hey great rubber boots. Looks like what Dad wore today to chase Nawrots cows. Love Mom
