On Saturday Åkersberga got its first snow of the winter. I was just getting ready to bike to a friends house when my host dad told me that is was snowing and to dress warm! It was slightly annoying to bike in the snow since it melted all over my glasses and made my visibilty not so great. However I went home that night it was so pretty. ( Read more... )

Gracie that is exciting that it is snowing there. When I returned to Winnipeg from Vermilion, we had a foot and a half. I go from no snow at all to a foot and a half, it was crazy. Yeah the snow is great, me and a couple of my friends played in the snow, I will show you pictures when I get my cord for my camera back, I left it at home. I also went to the premier of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, it played at 12:00am on Thrusday, me and a couple of friends went and when we got there, by the time the movie started over 30 students from CMU were there it was really funny actually, cause you won't expect so many people from a Christian University to be at a Harry Potter premier, but I do agree with you, the book is much better, but this movie was better than the 3rd one. Anyway it is supper time and I shall go.

At 2;30 I went for a 40 minute walk across 111 st to visit my friend Betty (but she wasn't home). As I was walking, where the pipe line crosses the street, I noticed a bright yellow flower, it was a dandelion. Today it was plus 12. Tomorrow it's to be 14. Forcast for Saturday is snow with plus 2. Most of the grass is green. Ours isn't very green because Dido cut it very short to prevent mice. It's so nice to hear from you regulary.
