when we were in dc it was the aniversary of Lincoln's death so we went to the theater and the house where he died. it was really sad. except they had this really fat and short woman renacting (sp?) mary Lincoln but she sounded like a little pig. so that was kind of funny. but i felt bad laughing at her. or at anything in the situation for that matter.

oh and i like your resolution to not scratch your ipod.. it's funny.

there are a ton of other connections that are pretty coincidental. like lincoln was shot in the ford theater and kennedy was shot in a ford model car, which was actually a lincoln town car. if you google it, there are more.
