Love your commitment to living with joy! Whenever I get overwhelmed I try to remember not to think about everything that you have to do or what's coming up, but to approach everything as it comes, with joy. :-)

I hate that I sometimes forget and pretend that I prefer ease and boredom

Mmm, yes. This line is speaking to me. In my circumstances, the ease and boredom are very often available to me, and it's up to me to choose work and fullness instead. Not always an easy choice to make, so I do have to keep reminding myself that I am happier when I make it.
