Congratulations on your new nephew! He looks so sweet.

It's strange to see photos of your rooms empty, after seeing so many pictures of them full of stuff and kids and plants and life... I am sure it was much stranger for you to see them that way.

I like the idea of seeing daily posts from you, even if they're short--I hope that plan comes to fruition!

I always find it interesting to come across something I wrote few years ago, and compare my hopes and goals to where I am now. Nothing as solid or ambitious as yours and Jeff's but it's nice to look back and take stock all the same :)

I agree wholeheartedly regarding the writing practice. But I also have a hard time balancing it with "unplugged" things, like reading at night instead of getting on the computer. It's a constant push/pull.
