Dog spinning anyone?

Now I know why I don't buy newspapers. I was sitting in a coffee shop (post IKEA trauma) flicking through a discarded daily express when I was assaulted by the image of a dog (in distress) with a rope tied round it's waist being spun round at high speed. Apparently rural bulgarians enjoy a bit of dog spinning. The custom brings the village good

Dressing up dogs in clothes is one thing but Aaargh!. I can't see how this is "beneficial" to the dogs' health.
