Maybe it's because I don't have a commute as such any more, but there's very few out there which can get and keep my interest beyond an episode or two - listening to something sat on your butt at the computer is a very different experience than listening while driving or whatever. I'm listening to:

99% Invisible: about all the thought that goes into the things we don’t think about - the unnoticed architecture and design that shape our world. I didn't think I'd be interested in this one, but I kept hearing about it and finally got hooked myself.

The Allusionist: a podcast about language and etymology, and be aware they often use "naughty words" as their subjects or while talking about their subject.

Criminal: a podcast about crime. Not so much the “if it bleeds, it leads,” kind of crime, but something a little more complex. Stories of people who’ve done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in the middle.

Lore: Our fears have roots. Lore exposes the darker side of history, exploring the creatures, people, and places of our wildest nightmares.

You Must Remember This: a storytelling podcast about the secret and/or forgotten histories of Hollywood’s first century.

I'm not much of a podcast fan, but I've been listing to Down and Safe. It's an episode by episode watch of Blakes 7. Mostly it's pretty good, although I occasionally find myself skipping forwards when they get caught up in a digression. It's supposed to be fortnightly but it's been on a hiatus since the end of April. I hope they get back to it.
