One of the advantages of being a grown-up, I guess, that I just thought it was sad and amusing rather than having the desired effect. They were an annoying little clique, to be perfectly honest, and made no effort to talk to anyone else while everyone else was chatting between fights. Their loss.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it went, other than losing my focus in the final but I think that's as much an experience thing as anything else.

Now comes the challenge of finding the next competition - not so tough that I'll get my arse handed to me early on, as I'd like a reasonable amount of fighting for my time/money. Sadly I've discovered that it's a crap sport for all the information about upcoming competitions being in any one place, which doesn't help.
