The Accountant Weighs In with Some Numbers

I'm just writing this to discuss my own personal perspective.  Yours might or might not be different.  I am very disappointed with the Supreme Court's ruling today with regard to the ObamaCare Plan.  This information is based upon my own research and while I have not read the entire Health Care Act, I have read many of the key sections of it. This is some truly scary stuff. And it does make me want to run for some other country. But I'm an American, and for some reason, I'm still proud of that fact, so I won't be leaving just yet. ;)

I agree with your last paragraph completely.

I applied for Medicade so I wouldn't have to pay for my own insurance. Because I have a per-existing condition and I could not get insurance (before all this), but I made to much money. I am on disability, but I get to much! So I took retirement through the state to keep my health insurance. This year I became eligible for Medicare, but I still have to keep other insurance. As Medicare only pays 80%. I am for a health-care overhaul. This one could of been better, but Obama comprised to much IMO.

You know I do understand that people like you, and me even with pre-existing conditions need health coverage. But the fact is too many people think they are going to benefit from this because they perceive that they must be the poor or disadvantaged. And there you are proof, according to the government tables you still made too much money. So according to their rules now you don't qualify for all the benefit you need and still have to pay out of pocket for what you've got.

I'm very disappointed with the decision, especially how many freedom-defending rulings they have made lately.

Here's a link I couldn't resist sharing with you:

http://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/vb8vs/eli5_what_exactly_is_obamacare_and_what_did_it/c530lfx

I don't have much else to say right now...but I've been thinking--have to share this with GradeAFan!Have to!

The comments range from "explain something..." to Opinions A-Z"...to some experts weighing in. There is this insurer guy who explained something and that sealed it, seemed like the thing you might want to read through.

Currently my mind is muddled with a lot of thoughts on this. So, not much of an opinion, yet.

I will attempt to post my most whirly minded icon here. Chaplin capturing 13 soldiers by surrounding them seems to fit my state of mind.

(edited to spell "so" not "son" yikes!)

Thank you for that article. It's not much encouragement to see the link from there to ( ... )

Looked at your business site--looks crisp and sharp, very businessy.
I liked it.

Also, your business lj looks good, too.

Thanks, I've spent a good amount of time working on it. I don't believe it has helped to bring me any clients but do expect to do a big marketing push after I complete the last of my federal tests and hope that new license will help to bring in more work. Thing is, tax season is basically over and there won't be much work to expect again until probably December.

Well, you have them both set up, and now can keep them alive for 4-5 months, and then do the PR push then, right?

And I do mean to look at the KFF site's knowledge base, it's definitely "must" reading to help sort through this maze of info.
