(no subject)
it just so happens that all i can think about is PUPPY. minute puppies are swarming all over my imagination. so, in tribute to all of dog-kind, i shall be posting a dog-fest, especially for our late labrador (lucy), our much-loved cross terrier (scamper) and, lastly, our as-yet-unknown new addition (?).
this is lucy. she was the runt of the litter, but had a love of food that eclipsed everything else in the vicinity. so she was quite fat. she never got enough attention, i don't think. it might have been because she got over-excited at anybody who patted her. a few years ago she suddenly got very ill and they discovered a tumour in her abdomen, and she was put down.
this is scamper. we still have her, and she is incredibly spoilt, human, cheeky, and comforting. she was at a dog shelter, and about to be euthanased, and we took her. at first she was very aggressive and snappy, and spent half her life nipping lucy's ears and legs just to make sure she knew who the top dog was. scamper is my baby. i can't help it. she is practically my best friend. and by now she never snaps - at me, anyway. she has been known to have a go at the plumber. she is also the most photographed dog i have ever known.
