Really nice chapter. Glad that they finally had a calm discussion. I think that's what bothered me most about Luke leaving, he never gave them the time to try to work things out together.

The moment with the ring was lovely.

Thank you. I understand your frustration, but unfortnately for me I had to have them go through Jason's surgery and Luke's surgery before they could finally (and calmly) talk it through. Glad you liked the part about the ring. ~Ali

Disappointed? Are you kidding? I would have been happy with whatever compromise they came up with. I just want them to be happy! I think Reid would be a great Dad, and Luke knows that. I think I said a while ago that Reid didn't think he would make a good husband, and he's the best husband that Luke could ever have asked for! We all know he'd be a great Dad...he just needs to believe it!

This has been an emotionally painful, beautiful story and I loved the journey. I will miss it, but I'm hoping that you will continue to write and maybe even do more in this series, perhaps AFTER they have their little bundle of joy? Thank you, Ali!!

I'm sorry we didn't get into Luke's discussions as much, but for Luke family is so much a part of his life that he can't imagine not sharing that with Reid. I appreciate that you enjoyed this little universe I've created for them. And I'll post the last chapter on Wednesday. ~Ali
