Brilliant! Love that Van is such a chatterbox--yup, I can completely believe this. And just the emotions that they're both feeling sitting across from each other are so intense and they both obviously feel something--well done there!

The flashback gave me goosebumps--that's my favorite LuRe kiss and oh, wow, how could they not feel something after that?

Oh my god! The 'date' was perfect. The gentle touches between them and the awkward silences, just like a real first date. And the hug at the end..perfect way to end it. Can't wait for more!

So, is it safe to assume that Eric hasn't really come out at this point? I'm guessing that's the case b/c it seems he is so shocked at the pull he's feeling towards Van. And, who has he dated since divorcing Jenny--all women? or did he actually try going out with a guy? Hmmmm....curious!

How much longer til Van tries something with Eric? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he's more confident about doing that--not sure why I say that b/c at this point he doesn't have any reason to believe that Eric is gay (or at least bi). Just that Van seems more comfortable putting himself out there.

Just tell me if I'm way off base. Another great chapter and then I get so depressed thinking about having to wait two more days for the next one!!

Will not answer your questions specifically, but Eric has dated and I think he's just really confused by what he feels for Van. Van may actually have more questions then anything else. I'll post chapter 6 on Friday. I hope the wait won't be too unbearable. Thank you! ~Ali
