In Aarhus / BG trip preperations

I don't really have any big news, so I'll just tell a little about the smaller news. So I maybe I can get it out of my system, as I really have lots to concentrate about, and don't have room for to concentrate on all these past little things ( Read more... )

allergies = bad
you losing weight = good (that is if you needed to lose weight)
swimming in the sea = fun (as long as there are no sharks!)
broken fridge = sucks
trip to Bulgaria = exciting
your sore belly = *rubs it better*
you inventing new words = awesome!!!

ie
big garden scissor - you mean lawnmower, but I prefer your version :)
nervousity - you mean nerves, or nervousness, but again I really dig your new word :)

Please don't think I'm being mean about your English skills because I am in awe of them. It amazes me when people make posts in a second language. I certainly couldn't do it. It's just that I couldn't resist commenting on your very cute new words <3

Ah, but dear Ann, I'm not that bad at english, I do know what a lawnmover is, and that's not what I use. I couldn't cut bushes with a lawnmover. That's why I said garden scissors, because they are scissors, big scissors, like these:

Hehe, your post made it sound like you were going to cut your lawn with scissors! I actually had a neighbour who did that once. She went out and knelt down with an ordinary pair of scissors and was snipping away for hours. I think she wasn't too well...

That was also my original intention, but these scissors couldn't really do it. So I ended with just ripping the grass up with my hands. But in the end, I thought "to hell with it", even though I am (by law) to cut my grass, I guess the neighbours care most that the hedge (yes, I finally remembered the word, for those bushes that work as a fence) is cut. and although the grass is one feet long, it's lying down on the grown, so I don't think no one notices and complains.

You shouldn't be that nervous about those small things. But ah..we are all so spoiled, we have no real difficulties in our lives and take everything as granted.
Be tougher, man! If you want to support a family, you shouldn't get stressed so easily every time.

Maybe you are spoiled and have no difficulties, but don't speak on my behalf about that.
I am stressed because I'm nervous, and because I take this duty seriously. In this way I cope with it, so I'm doing well. And most important, I keep my humanity.

Oh no no, I never go anywhere. I've only been to three countries besides my own. The only time I've been anywhere for many years, was in Bulgaria last summer, and I did show a picture then. That's why I went last year, and hope to go again in August, because everybody travels and sees so much, and I never go.
