New flat pictures
So we've taken a few pictures of our new home, and these are a selection of them!
This is the outside. We live upstairs on the left there. Our kitchen window is hidden behind the tree!
Our kitchen! Easily twice the size of the one in our old flat. You can actually fit two people in it at once!
The other side of the kitchen. Take note of the huge fridge. I was thinking that the bottom half would be a freezer but it's not. Needless to say that with just two poor students living here, that thing is mostly empty!
A couple of shots of the living room, which is also a lot bigger than our old one. It's so much bigger that we now have space for this:
A dedicated computer desk! This 'new' piece of furniture was giving to us by a friend of Kati's family. Although not in brilliant condition it certainly works well enough. And it means we don't have to sit at the kitchen table anymore. I know it's a laptop but sitting with that thing on your legs for more than 15 minutes can make you feel quite warm!
The last shot is the view from our balcony, taken from my chair. I think it's quite nice. I like to sit out there sometimes in the evenings with a little drink and just relax.
Tomorrow we're having a housewarming party. We don't know a huge amount of people so it won't be a 'party' but Kati's making a cake and some cookies and tomorrow we'll get some beer in ready. Hopefully it'll be a fun night!
