My sketchcards for Topps' "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" trading card series have been approved, (I think they're already in the stores even) so I'm able to show 'em off. :)
Heh. the reference material they sent us in advance was pretty generic though. Nothing really spoiler-y of course, but nothing really spectacular either. But I guess an Indiana Jones movie can't be bad.
I said it on Scoundrel as well (or somewhere similar): looking at these a while after finishing them, I notice a lot of flaws... mainly, I should have used something (like a grey marker) to do some kind of a (vague) background, or something... maybe that would've made the characters pop more. I don't know.
Dude, you should definitely give it a shot... but only if you're really, truly interested in earning peanuts, having "insane" deadlines (although they're gradually becoming "normal" deadlines again), but all the while experiencing one long fanboy orgasm. Give me a shout at artgrafunkel at gmail dot com . ;)

I'm glad they got approved, but I always notice things where I fucked up, or should've tried harder. Lesson's learnt, I guess.
