How to tell if someone is lying to you about Net Neutrality:

If they claim content providers, like Google and Yahoo, aren't paying for the content that they provide to you.

This is a bald-faced lie, but they keep saying it over and over to try to convince people that it's "only fair" to force those companies to pay for bandwidth that you use

Keep in mind that the telcos have been seeding the debate with astroturfing sockpuppets and fake "grass-roots" websites advocating against regulation. You might have been talking to one of them.

Well, I wasn't actually talking to this person. It was just a post made on some other site by someone claiming to work for an ISP. But you're right, it could just be a lobbying stooge.
