Sort of, but not really. I took a bunch of elements of things I had heard, seen or experienced and sort of came up with this. *shrugs*

wow. that is really descriptive and well written. it is rich with deep symbolism beneath its subtle appearing surface. I mean, here you have a young person who thinks he/she has figured something out, but can't quite follow through due to inexperience, and then subsequently requires the help of his/her mother who swoops in to fix the "mess" that is literally running amok. you may have already noticed but i'm a sucker for double meaning and symbolism and i think what you've done here is really well done. it's all here. you've got a rich, vivid layer of description on top of a deep thinking layer of symbolism. simply put, it's like a slice of cake. it's wonderful. keep up the good work!
