Someone was interested in seeing my dress, so here it is...It is a reproduction of 1859 ballgown. It's made of ivory matte satin and has a hoop that measures 4'11'' across (mom wanted to go bigger, over 5ft, but as it was I had trouble fitting down the isle with either of my escorts). It sits in my livingroom calling to me. I look at it over and over again all day long...but I haven't dressed it. Why? I need to make clay weights and the wool is in Titusville...but the loom is very pretty to look at :)
