I miss something?

Was there some kind of governmental regulation passed that I didn't hear about or something? I stopped to get gas this morning on the way into work... and it was $1.99 a gallon.

I'm sorry, but the continuing drop in gas prices just *has* to have some kind of explanation beyond Big Oil is being generous.

1) our refining(sp) is back from where its been in the last year, that was the biggest one

2) we imported a shit load of gas to make up for demand, but the way that works we are kind of now just actually gettting that gas into the market, so now we have more gas than we actually want

thats why the price has dropped so fast. it will stop falling in the next week, and will probably go back up 30 cents or so a gallon by thanksgiving
