With perhaps an unnecessary amount of tooth-gnashing and fretting about the cost, I signed up for a design class with MECA's Continuing Ed department. I gave up my Thursdays (my only free weeknight), but it's only for 7 weeks and only $350. hey, congratulations on starting!

I think that amount of money and time is a good way to begin. (We had a training at work, and the trainer talked about making changes by "inserting the small end of the wedge", rather than by trying something huge all at once. I'm finding that to be a good way of doing things, at least at work, so maybe it's good for personal life too).

And yay, we're starting school again, at the same time :)

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that.
I hope this is one of those situations where a bad thing leads to a lot of good opportunities. I'll keep my fingers crossed for things working out.

Thanks, I'm trying to be optimistic about it (I did really hate the place and have been planning to leave for ages) but it's impossible to not worry.
