I have a question. Which is correct?

"Chuck Norris's Dad"

"Chuck Norris' Dad"

I saw this on a humor site a few minutes ago, and suddenly I can't recall which is correct. "Norris" isn't a plural noun so it seems to me that the first should be correct, but I don't remember what the rule is.

Did you ever wander down your Facebook feed and see someone who is typically grammatically challenged being surprisingly eloquent - then you see the post ends with "Copy this to your status if you agree"?

Can you tell me which one is grammatically correct:

I felt myself swooning so I lay down on the floor beside him and closed my eyes until the wave subsided.

OR

I felt myself swooning so I laid down on the floor beside him and closed my eyes until the wave subsided.

I think that nothing in the world increases your spell-checking skills more than when you click "post".

I can type something up, go over it several times, do some fixing, become satisfied... then you click "post" and the darnedest errors just scream at you out of the woodwork.  Same thing when you finally print up a paper you've been typing.
