Omgz0rs! I just got an offer for a summer intern position with Carnegie Geophysical Laboratory in D.C. I just got a call from the woman who I would work with if I accepted it. She's doing work on seismology, studying the interior of the Earth using seismic velocities and seismic anisotropy. Kind of awesome

You rock, Amanda...Congrats!!! Washington D.C. would be such a fantastic experience...I noticed Carnegie pays a stipend, does the local one?? Also kudos on the Mekong Delta opportunity. Do you think you'll go??
