Bravo in so many ways!!!

More proof I was more right that night at ConJose. You are the bravest and strongest person I know.

So when are you going to start wearing a purple or red hat?

So, there I was, reading my friends list and trying to figure out who a few people were - hmm - grammom... who is grammom? So I read your user info and thought "Wow, she just sounds so cool! Why am I not surprised that Beckett has such a terrific mom?" So out of curiosity I read a few of your more recent journal entries and well - all I can say is you are truly inspiring. I had gestational diabetes and just living with that diet and glucose monitoring etc was enough to make me convinced I never want to deal with type 2. Which was my kick in the butt to lose weight (thereby lowering my risk). Bad enough to deal with diabetes without all the other stressors in your life. Phew. Sounds like you are dealing more than admirably.

My last thought - wish you could meet my mom, I bet you'd like her. :-)
