Super Bowl Sunday

Today I was told that one of my friends would be playing on the adult side in our annual Alexander Family Super Bowl Football Game: Kids vs. Adults. This is a tradition at our house that started when my oldest brother was an early teen. My dad was given a chocolate football when we left Sylvania.... He said we wouldn't eat it until the Browns won the Super Bowl. I too had a long childhood without a die-hard NFL alliegance, always watching only the commercials carefully.

Tonight was different for a Pittsburgh gal like myself.

We still haven't touched that damn chocolate football though.

This year as we reminisced about super bowl games past, we did remember that you always went in early. Now we know why.
