Gwynn knew that Tim was probably doing something for her birthday, so after she got off work, she took a shower there and made sure that she looked presentable for whatever her her fiance had planned for her tonight. She loved spending holidays and especially her birthday with him because he always made the day or evening seem so very special for her.

She opened the door to their flat and smiled at the scent of Italian food of some kind.She couldn't wait to see everything that he had decided to do for tonight. (They never skimped on birthdays for each other.)

"Tim, I'm home."

"Welcome home My Lady." Tim grinned, with a bow. "And happy birthday." He even moved to take her coat for her.

Gwynn couldn't help but smiling as she watched him bow and then he took her coat.

"I feel like royalty almost with you doing all of this."

"Well good, that's what I was going for." Hobson had advised against trying a British accent for the greeting. Despite living in England for a while now, Tim still just sounded silly whenever he did that. Of course he often sounded silly anyway, since he'd started using some British slang, which sounded really odd with an American accent.

"Did you have a good day?" He leaned in for a kiss after hanging up her coat.
