i'm right there with you B. in fact this is exactly what has ended things with my best friend. she's decided she doesn't think she needs to pay me back, she thinks i somehow owe it to her. wtfe.

i like to give people the benefit of the doubt and more than anything i like to help my friends if i can. sadly it just gets me screwed in the end.

yea,. it has definitely caused tension between me and a lot of my friends.

i've always been a bank for my friends and most of the time they pay me back so i don't worry about it. But there are those times that they just decide it never happened and wonder why i choose not to associate with them as much.
just like you, when i bring it up, they look at me as the bad guy.. i loaned you money when you were in desperate need, now rather than paying me back, you have shiny new toys and get upset at me.. gah.. anywho.

i'm not bitter, hehe
