Antimatter weapons would be remarkably cleaner than fission devices in various arsenals around the world. Just think of the sheer excitement holding a warhead which is smaller than a pencil eraser, barely four atoms of antilithium, once it's activated it would consume something the size of Hiroshima with the same ferocity but without the annoying hibakusha.

Please note that humanity has already done something quite unsettling in their pursuit of weaponry. Perhaps you have not heard about the Tsara Bomba. The Soviets detonated a 50-57 megaton bomb at Novaya Zemlya. The shockwave went around the earth three times, energy produced by that single detonation was a bit more than one percent of the output of the sun. If kilometers meant anything to me, I'd be able to tell you the horrendous distances the effects covered but from the brief overview that I read on the internet said if it was dropped on Washington D.C. then Maryland and most of the outlying areas were fucked hard in the asshole.
