I suppose it's not really surprising how many people here don't have the stomach for the only proven solution to these problems -- not that I mean to deride those who don't, but...if you can't end it quickly, I'd suggest staying out of the way and leaving it to those who can

I don't plan on pushing for two deaths in one week, I'm afraid.

But there do seem to be a few people who have already expressed that they're able and willing to do what needs to be done here. Leaving it to them would be prudent.
