So Nic is just a dear "friend", huh? Yeah, right. Methinks I may have to write the "real" version, just like I did for tdu!

I love how you refer to Ros in your snippets - Theological Temptress (my favorite), Meek and Mild Bible Expert. LOL! And how Charlie is interested in theology.

Fun stuff, Grandma Kate. And "traces of ample bosom essence" is priceless.

Oo, yes, do write the real version. I love your real versions. I also notice that you're rewriting everyone's story, but not getting to your own assignment.

I don't know what's wrong with me. Every idea I come up with is stupid. I'm waiting for some inspiration. Or maybe I should just start writing and see where it takes me. Hopefully tonight, after the girls go to bed. Right now there's too much going on in the house for me to concentrate.

Don't worry too much about it. Personally, I'd be happy if you just write what you write best: lots of scars, gore, and angst. :-)

Actually, I forgot to ask this too: what exactly were you doing with Nic on that beach, Kate? In detail, please. :-)

It was a Nature Interpretive Center on the Baylands. We were at a fun raiser that my granddaughter was pouring wine for. There is a fairly narrow wooden boardwalk that you can walk on to see the marshlands.
