My former next door neighbor and fellow Kinder teacher sent this to me. I wish I'd had it when I was a child and had to learn the Presidents in order. Of course, there were fewer of them back in the olden days.

Wow. It was really interesting to see the difference in age between consecutive presidents. See a face with quite a few wrinkles morph into one without any really brought it home to me. Thanks for sharing this.

My daughter pointed out that they don't smile until Jimmy Carter. Then they all do. Obama has the best grin.

Neat. Never realised there were so many. Love seeing Carter's smile. Quite a punch after all those serious faces. We have to memorise the kings, but they usually last a while, so even though it's one 1000 year's worth it isn't that many. And the 400-year "night" (union with Denmark) was easy after the first few. Then they alternated names and increased numbers. Christian 2, Frederik 1, Christian 3, Frederik 2, Christian 4, Frederik 3...

I was fascinated by the fashions for beards or not. I guess people were not used to smiling for portraits or the kind of long duration photographs. Now we grin like crazy.

I noticed the beards coming and going also when I watched it. We're just THAT in synch. ;-)

Ah the men are slaves to fashions.

I just watched Lauren do her famous "roll over" on command. Dear Oatmeal says she'll soon be rolling in both directions. She gets up pretty high on her arms now.
