Moonette's Birthday Magical Mystery Tour Bus Tour I

Jun 19, 2009 09:39

Ginny Potter stepped away from the Floo Connection and wondered why she had agreed to drive a group of tourists anywhere they wanted to go on the Magical Mystery Tour Bus. She was only doing it as a favor for her mum's friend, grandma_kate. It wasn't that Grandma Kate wasn't a nice old lady, but Ginny was beginning to have doubts about the rest of the ( Read more... )

The first guests arrive... grandma_kate June 19 2009, 17:54:36 UTC
When Molly Weasley, Nic Meath, and Grandma Kate Apparated to that convenient alley next to Kinds Cross, they were delighted to find Ginny and the Magical Mystery Tour Bus already there. It was a good thing that it had industrial Strength Confoundus Charms on it, otherwise the colourful psychedelic swirls that were painted all over it would have made Muggles think about San Francisco during the Summer of Love, instead of suddenly remembering that they needed to be anywhere except in the vicinity of the large bus ( ... )

St. Mags smiled at Ginny who was hoisting her Trunk o’ Hunks onto the tour bus. Like Death Eater!Professor Moody, St. Mags possessed a trunk with numerous compartments. There was even a man trap at the very bottom, perfect for capturing a hero until she was done using him in a story. Poor Harry had logged all sorts of hours in that thing while she was writing her multi-chapter stories. But since St. Mags always gave him Ginny’s companionship, Harry never tried to escape her clutches ( ... )

What? 'Polishing your broom' isn't enough for you?

Maybe the Harmonians based their whole credo on Hermione giving Harry that Broomstick Polishing Kit the first year.

I hope you can come! I have both Fred and George along if you want to play with them. And Padma really should be statistician at this game. Maybe Ajax Goodwin can show up, too.

Yeah, Ajax can be on the opposing team and he and George and shoot bludgers at each other for Padma's affection.

And Ron and Viktor can vie for Hermione's hand. Oh, good idea. Will will have to have an arch-nemisis, too. Maybe Ryan Rand from my latest fic. . . Yes, that would work . . . I'll get on it.

If we leave it up to Napier and George, it may be a Moonlight Special. I'd suspect that even though Hogwarts is supposed to be the first stop, magical events will occur that take up most of the rest of today. Some people can't join us until it is Saturday (their time), so I'd guess sometime tonight.

Moonette and I are in California, but where we actually are located hasn't mattered much at past parties. My husband is going to the multiplex and watch two 'blood and gore' movies one after the other while I play on line.

Amamama was writing furiously fast on her shiny new MacBook Pro, stopped to read through what she'd written, before deleting most of it.

And then her husband demanded that she come help with the dishes. pfft! As if domestic issues like these mattered when there was a party to go to! Bill hid in the shadows and sighed. He'd just have to wait a little while. She would be back later, he knew that much.

Oliver Wood seemed to think that he should have a major say in how the opposing Quidditch Teams were chosen. Napier was likely to take the pairings too seriously and George, not seriously enough.

And that Queen was some piece of work. She kept playing with her action figures and pretending like no one could tell which of the Chariles she had laid out in a row was authentic. Like the real Weasley would wear blur contact lenses.

'Listen up! Ginny Potter can play Seeker if she wants to but I think that Charlie will leave her drooling on the sidelines while he catches the Snitch,' Oliver said, not noticing how Ginny's eyes narrowed. Little did her realize that one so small could do so much damage.
