I haven't listened yet, but I will tomorrow. Why are you melancholy? Did something happen? When my boys were little, I used to sing Summertime to them as as they were going to sleep. A few months ago, #1 son heard a rendition of it and mentioned that it was one of his favorite "non-popular" songs and I said, "That's probably because sang it to you when you were a baby." (probably until he was about 5 or 6) He, of course, had no recollection of that at all, but it was in his sub-conscious. When he was first born, my parents came out to Prunedale to "help" and my mother used to sit in the rocker and sing Italian lullibys to him. I wonder if that is tucked away somewhere in his memory.
Yes, a minor rift in the family. I cannot go into detail at this time. When kids squabble - well, you know. It will pass. There are so many songs I love. Most of them I cannot play on guitar, so I don't try to record. I have been having fun with my new guitar. No recordings yet, but fun trying to work up some jazz arrangements. I'll be posting another song later tonight. If you haven't visited it yet, a new community 'Sing 4 Me' is worth a visit. I am sure #1 son has many buried memories. I have some from lullibies my mother sang to me. Memories are sweet.

I probably should make a more complete recording as would normally appear on a CD. The compliment is joyfully received. Thank you and your family. I'm posting another in my journal that you might also enjoy.
