Medication does cause so many strange side effects but doctors don't like to admit that their "GOD" doesn't always work for everyone. I hope you get better soon. Sorry also to hear about your step daughter, have the docs said whether they think she will pull through or not?

Thank you, Lisa. I am much better now. Donna is not good. She is a mother with 3 teenagers at home, and is having to just live day to day. I just hope a transplant becomes available before she reaches such a critical stage that they write her off as not a good transplant risk.

I'm really sorry to hear all this, it seems you have very good reason to be stressed. Instead of them telling you what they did, I think they should have asked you to come in and checked out what's wrong with you. Not very good doctors if you ask me.

I hope you feel better soon, and that the case of hives goes away, for good.

Thank you, Marni. I am O.K. now. Just so worried about Donna.

About a year ago, I developed an allergy to sulphur medications.
My doctor said it wasn't unusual after taking them for a while.
I showed him the hives and he took me off that medication as well
as writing down in my file that I was allergic to sulphur based meds.
Sounds like your doctor and his staff are idiots and/or jerks.
