What happens when the two consenting adults (prostitute and presumably an older male) have other partners that do not know of their habits. You also have over estimated the human condition. Prostitutes will lie to make $$$. Im not sure id be a happy camper if my husband deceifully decided to hire a prostitute contracting AIDS and passing them on to me. You cannot expect people to be truthful about their sex lives to other partners. Prostitution increased spreading of incredibly harmful STD's and there is no way around that unless we invent truth syrum. Also how can you say you want people to be responsible for their own actions and then in the breath before say that everyone should be able to do what they want. If everyone is doing what they want how are they being held accountable for what they do?? Once again i want to express that you all OVER ESTIMATE HUMANS!!

It's simple. By being responsible for their actions we mean that they take responsibility for the consequences of their actions. They will be held accountable by law the second they bring harm to another person or infringe on another person's rights. It's not a question of whether or not we over estimate humans. We know people will be stupid. We just recognize they have a right to be stupid as long as they don't harm someone that does not wish to be harmed (unless they are in an obvious situation where harm would occur like that old woman that spilled the McDonald's coffee on herself. She wouldn't win a case against McDonald's under the philosophy because she willingly had bought the coffee and it therefore was under her complete control upon buying it ( ... )
