I made a very interesting observation while at work today, and I figured I'd write it here, because everyone seems to like reading my thoughts. LoL. Anyways, here it is

I am a star trek geek. On star trek there are Borgs who started out as being one collective conscious. They had one mind. Whatever was thought by one was thought by all. But over time they spread and encounter different people and different environments. They each started to have their own objective/goals in life. They eventually became two major fractions (which in the earlier episode of the next generation Data’s evil twin led one of the Borg fraction). I think this is the same with humans or any individual creature of why we can’t have one collective consciousness.
If you believed in the version of Adam and Eve, we are all connected in a way. More scientifically, different psychologists have the theory of the collective unconsciousness that connects all of us in a way by generations. There is a really good book that I liked called Many Masters, Many Lives by Brain L. Weiss that kind of goes into this women's past lives. I am not sure it really has anything to do with the connection of human beings, but I was reminded of this book

Hrmmm. Just cruising LJ...and I happened to stumble upon your most unique and enlightening post. I guess I just have to commend you for reaching a state of complete comprehension that most people literally spend lives to attain.
You've reflected and grasped the concepts of my two favorite and "most valid" (in my opinion), religious doctrines of thought: Christianity and Buddhism. Everything will pass away. All except the relationships and love that we have shared with others.
So once again, as nothing more than stranger on the internet, I commend you.

I guess I just have to commend you for reaching a state of complete comprehension that most people literally spend lives to attain.
