[Mukuro walks through a collection of headstones, somewhere in the city.]

This event has its ups and downs, doesn't it? So many of you seem so upset. Some of you seem happy.

Just because I'm not drawn into it doesn't mean I don't see it. You're right, though. It's tedious, after awhile - nothing but death, death, death. I could do better.

If you're really trying to upset people, death is good, but pain is better. I would show them images of people they care about in pain, being tortured, with no way to save them or end the pain. Or I would give them something they wanted, but twist it - turn it to ashes before the end.

Or perhaps that's just what I'd like to do right now.

I'm fine. [But he's come to know Frau rather well since he's been here, so he doesn't say it with quite the certainty he might use with someone else.] It's just an illusion, but nonetheless there are some things that are unpleasant to see.

Being alone doesn't help. If you want you can come over. It's warm here and currently illusion free.

I'm never really alone. [But that's a pat answer that isn't quite true here. Still, Mukuro has no desire to show weakness, not even to Frau.]

But if it's warm there, I might come by. I like the fog, but it does make things a bit chilly.
