i'm not necessarily impressed with the people i've met on okcupid...and those are the ones who DO write back to me. i'm of the opinion that it's better to meet people the old-fashioned way, in person, if i could only figure out how to do that. if you're meeting new people all the time, that's most of the battle, i think.

Well, it seems I now have a whopping two interactions on OkCupid worth mentioning. There was, of course, the one girl I've ever approached who didn't respond. Semi-recently, however, some random girl added me to her favorites (and wanted me to know about it . . . so I got the notice). I waited a day or so to see if there was a message to accompany the action . . . but there wasn't. She had no picture, so I approached her, genuinely curious to know if we knew each other already. When she revealed she didn't, I thanked her and introduced myself.
I think I scared her off :-P. It is apparent that I am an OkCupid genius (and probably won't be using the site for its intended purpose as I had originally decided a month ago).
