Hermione telling Toby off ... Lucius in pigtails ... and blooming ATTACK PEACOCKS. Snicker. Snort. :-)

Heh. Severus has told some wopping great lies. Had to give him good reason.

Love the fact that the attack peacocks are a hit :D

Whoa! Toby was a second away from being visited by Hermione's angry canaries, and he would have deserved every one of them! Wonder how Severus is going to feel about his choice of best man when he sobers up. I must admit, it did make sense at the time. Poor Lucius! Never thought I'd say that, but he's just having one bad hair day after another.

"I believe I should get home before Narcissa charms the peacocks to attack on sight."

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

Ah, in my drabbles, Ron is a hero! Whether he stays that way remains to be seen...

And "because I'm worth it!" Lucius is such an easy target :-)

There's so much I love about this set. I love Toby turning the lounge into his own personal hash/sports den, I love Severus calling in his lads for moral support, I love plaited Lucius and giggly Draco and kind, compassionate Ron being Best Man.

But what I love most is that you give both Severus and Toby added depth by showing us other facets of their personalities, and demonstrating--convincingly--why Severus was so hostile when Toby seemed like nothing more than a genially bullying freeloader. That moment when Toby's mood changes like quicksilver and Severus slips back into an obviously well-ingrained posture from childhood--that's really great, and I'm glad you did it.

It means a lot that you approve of my treatment of your Toby. Thank you kindly!

I usually have a lousy time getting my lazy self out of bed Monday mornings (and deliver a few choice curses at the workweek, the hour, the job, and Madconsort should he be fool enough to attempt conversation before coffee). This Monday? Not so much. I remembered it was your turn to post and that we were going to learn a bit more about Tobias and got up without even a scowl at the alarm clock.

And I was *not* disappointed...I love the humor here, especially the little glimpse of Draco and Lucius (awwww), Ron as best man, and ATTACK PEACOCKS. What absolutely makes this installment for me though is Hermione's actions toward Tobias. I love that even in the middle of all this chaos (and yesterday's understandable spat) we get a glimpse of how much they care for each other and the marriage, if not the wedding, is a good idea.

Thank you for a marvellous reviewing!

Had to give Snape a good reason for denying his parents exist and getting Hermione's sympathy.

Attack peacocks just seemed such a good reaction to the man staying out too late ;-)

*giggles madly* This is fabulous! I adore the bunch of stoned wizards watching footie, Ron as best man and, omg, Lucius in pigtails. And I loved Hermione's reaction to Tobias.
