Y'know, if you just come into this cold, smack into Chapter Twenty, you may have no idea what's been set up in the first nineteen, but MAN is it hysterical!!! Can't quote favorite sections, as there are only about 453 of them.

But I do so love such creative use of the language. Good work!!

Have bookmarked for further delving. Will quote at will. No one will know what hit 'em.

EAT THISTLES, HUMANS!!!

Thank you! You're going to quote me? *blushes*

This is the first time I haven't linked to all chapters - sorry. However, if you click on the Hissing HArpies tag, then all of them should come up, including the two introductory drabbles.

I finally get to comment on this! You know that I adore it, but I can't resist telling you again.

I really love the notion that the 'something extra' the Goblins were after is to launch their new jewelry and decorating business with a high-profile wedding. I also love all the bickering amongst the Hogwarts regulars, and the way Severus and Hermione are sneakily using everybody's preoccupation with 'symbolism' to get back at them for meddling so much. Fabulous cursing, too--I think 'Ptolemy's trefoil titty-clamps' is my favorite of the set.

Macavity Magical Security, though... that just has disaster written all over it.

Cue ominous music....

Thank you for the praise - I'm blushing! I don't think I'm ever going to be very good at deep and serious, though, so the Goblins HAD to be after something like this.

Too bloody funny!

With all the fabulous lines, and there are many, it's a sign of truly brilliant writing that the most vicious line of all is a simple, perfectly set up, "I rest my case."

You've handled the necessity of compromise in wonderfully witty style, and I love the spine-tinglingly-terrifying last twist - Macavity Magical Security, now there's a corporate moniker to strike fear in a humble fanfic writer.
