Hehehe. Maybe, but if so, it's kinda like a rotten one. :-)

Easter eggs are usually "fun" little extras that a developer will hide in an otherwise unrelated application, like hiding a flight-simulator thing in Microsoft Excel.

This, however, is more like them purposefully hiding the "File > Save" menu, and you having to hit an arcane (and not documented anywhere handy) series of keys to save a file.

Pretty much! Actually, there *is* a dos command-esque thing to do the same thing, but it requires you to have installed it. Since you live in Microsoft-land, you'll probably run into somebody responsible for some of that stuff one of these days.

Adaptec, on the other hand, is in Santa Clara, California (I think). Which is too bad, or you could kick them for me. :-)

You know, the roughly 30% of what you say that I understand is very entertaining. You should come visit sometime. We could draw processes for managing baby poop on the white board. No, I dont have a white board but I could get one. Remember our flow chart showing everything we were all doing funneling into the marketing group and then from there straight into the trash? I'm thinking some slight modifications to that process could work well for developing a potty training flow chart. Emphasis on flow. Good god I'm sleepy.
