At my office, our entire network went down for a week. Nobody could do ANYTHING. The network equipment closet is right outside my office, and the APS backup was beeping like crazy. I couldn't get anyone to come look at it, no matter how many times I TOLD them the network stuff was plugged into it - and they wouldn't let me touch it, either.
They FLEW someone out from Tennessee to look at it. He asked me what was going on, then walked in, and unplugged the APS and swapped it out in 2 minutes.
*gasp!* Uh oh GrangerX!! The woman is onto the fact that your job is secretly super easy. Quick, come up with a super complicated explanation of how hard swapping out an APS really is!
