So a kid asked me today why I didn't know every word in the Spanish language. My response?

Why don't you know every word in the English language?

It is statements like that which motivated me to become the smart man I am today. Just so I could walk up to the teacher 20 years later and say: "I may not know every word, but I'm close."

But that is probably one of the best teacher comebacks ever. Period.

You see, if one of those kids comes back in 20 years to tell me that, I'd be proud of them.
