Back from Expo

Got back from Expo at 02:30 am and of course turned on the laptop and stayed up. I'm clever like that.

Saw many of you, even had a chance to say hello to many of you, but there were many people I barely got the chance to speak to or even see ^_^; You're all in my thoughts if that helps :P

Well done! Good to see you for a short while :)

I only went to the Sunday masquerade, but I thought you did a great job. My only improvement would be moving the stage curtains over so they cover the stairs onto the stage like last time. Getting up them can eat a chunk of your timed music.

True true- to be honest, that's what we've had in the past, we must have run out of curtain!

Despite the delay with the panels during the day, which you couldn't have done much about, I think the masq ran really well on both days. I think we all knew already that it was likely to be delayed a bit just because of the vast number of entries but once the panels were done everything seemed to move really smoothly and quickly.
I've said on CosI already but the helpers on both days were fantastic! They were really great and took care of us all!
I didn't envy the judges on Saturday at all, they seemed to be there right up until the masq started and had such a hard job!
Was great seeing you and Ailsa (though Ailsa seemed to be rushing around more than you!), we had to rush off Sunday to catch the last DLR so we didn't have chance to say goodbye. T.T

Someone's got to be in the 3 places at once that need attention so Joe can get on with making sure the masquerade actually runs! Still we had some really good help at the desk and backstage which made life so much better. I'm always amazed at the number of people who will buy a ticket and then spend pretty much the whole day working their butts off at the desk!

Sorryyyyyyy! There were points on Saturday where I would not have recognised my own mother I think. Getting up at 4 am for Sunrise Cosplay was a really clever decision on my part!
